LG G5 | Techexchange | Phone Review

LG is back, with strong innovation – the LG G5 is a competitive smartphone which fights in the league of the best devices from 2016 so far.

OS: Android 6 | Screen size: 5.3-inch | Resolution: 2560 x 1440 | RAM:& 4GB | Storage: 32GB | Battery: removable 2800mAh | Rear camera: 16MP | Front camera: 8MP

This is a phone that’s designed to fall apart – well, come apart at least. You see, on top of the clever dual camera there’s a clip at the bottom that lets you pull the battery out – as seen in the review image. That’s good in itself – too many phones lack a removable power pack.

The phone has add on models which you can clip onto the bottom of the phone in order to enhance the camera experience or the sound experience. The dual camera on the back allows for excellent focus and “pro modes” allowing you to get really professional with your phone photography. The front camera is 8 mega pixels and has a wide angle view, which allows you to take spectacular images for sweeping landscapes and tall buildings.

We love the large screen and slender sides, the phone sits in the hand nicely. It is a 5.3 inch Q HD display which is slightly smaller than the LG G4 and therefore has a sharper resolution. You can compare the phone to the iPhone 6S, Samsung Galaxy S7 and the HTC 10 LG has given us a competitive smartphone option and TechTrader is a big fan.

Remember: Last year’s LG G4 isn’t very far off from this phone in terms of spec, and it’s a obviously much cheaper now. It’s not got the attractive metal body, but if you can rustle up the leather variant you’re getting an absolute steal of a smartphone.

See the: LG G3 or LG G-Pad for an even cheaper variant!
