Product availability

Lead time is dependent on stock availability. Should we have stock available, orders will be dispatched the same day provided payment is validated/received before 1200 hours.

Should the product not be in stock please allow 10 working days plus freight transit time. This will allow for delivery to our warehouse.

Every effort is made to effect shipment of your order timeously however unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. Should we be faced with such an occurrence TechExchange will contact you via email and provide a revised shipping schedule.             

Refund/Returns Policy

Should you for any reason wish to cancel your purchase you will be liable for a 10% handling fee. You are required to advise us in writing of your cancellation within 7 days of receiving your order and any such cancellation must be signed by the person who made the original purchase. The goods must be returned to us undamaged in the original packaging within 10 calendar days.

* Note:  Techexchange (PTY) Ltd recommends that you use The Courier Guy and Pargo services for all returns as it offers shipment tracking through a 24-hour customer service. Should you choose to use a carrier that does not offer a tracking facility and the goods are lost then no refund or return will be considered.

Please note that we only refund to the payment method that you originally used – i.e. payment by credit card will be refunded to the same credit card, payment by EFT or COD (cash on delivery) will be refunded to your nominated bank account

Legal Advice

The customer understands that he or she is free to seek legal and other advice before accepting Techexchange’s terms and conditions and before purchasing any Products or engaging Techexchange to render any services.

Only the terms and conditions contained herein shall apply to the supply of services by Techexchange or the sale of the Products. No other terms and conditions (as amended from time to time) will apply to any transaction between Techexchange and the customer apart from those terms, conditions, rights and obligations which are necessarily imposed by law.

These terms and conditions must be read together with and interpreted in terms of the Consumer Protection Act and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, which Acts are made available on Techexchange’s website. Where there is a conflict between these terms and conditions and either the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, the aforesaid Acts shall prevail.

Each term or condition of this contract is severable and in the event that any one or more of the terms and / or conditions is found to be unenforceable, then the remaining terms and conditions shall remain valid and enforceable

Governing Law

Techexchange is the trading name of the registered company Techexchange (PTY) Ltd and conducts its business in the Republic of South Africa. The law governing these terms and conditions is the law of the Republic of South Africa.

Disputes

If there is any dispute between the customer and Techexchange arising out of these terms and conditions or any transaction between them, and provided the parties are unable to resolve the dispute, then the parties irrevocably agree to refer the dispute for arbitration.

The dispute shall be referred to the Arbitration Foundation of South Africa who shall appoint an independent practicing advocate of at-least 10 years standing to be the arbitrator. The parties agree that the arbitration will be kept confidential and the expedited rules will be used to resolve the dispute. Any notice, process or document which needs to be delivered or served on TechExchange must be served at its registered address set out above and a copy must be sent via e-mail to sales@techexchange.co.za

Verbal representations

The customer agrees that no verbal alteration, amendment or modification of these terms and conditions shall be binding on the either of the Parties.

Security Policy

Virtual Card Services process all credit card transactions. All credit card transactions are 128 bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL) encrypted. The company registration documents and the site's registered domain name are checked and verified by Thawte, ensuring the cardholder and merchant that nobody can impersonate VCS to obtain confidential information.

Virtual Card Services is committed to providing secure online services. All encryption complies with international standards. Encryption is used to protect the transmission of personal information when completing online transactions. Virtual Card Services Internet servers are protected by firewalls and intrusion detection systems.

The Merchant does not have access to credit details.

Virtual Card Services continually reviews and enhances its security in line with technological changes

Monitoring

We have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor any activity and content associated with the Website. We may investigate any reported violation of these Conditions or complaints and take any action that we deem appropriate (which may include, but is not limited to, issuing warnings, suspending, terminating or attaching conditions to your access and/or removing any materials from the Website).

Law

The Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa whose Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.

Consent:

I understand that all the designs and trademarks are registered to Techexchange Pty Ltd and hereby accept the terms and conditions. I undertake not to copy/duplicate the trademarks and designs directly or indirectly in anyway and understand the legal implications thereof. Should I be found to be in violation of this agreement I understand that I will be held liable for all legal costs incurred by Techexchange Pty Ltd for any civil action or any legal action deemed necessary against me.
